Through its “1 Pack = 1 Vaccine” campaign, Pampers supports UNICEF’s Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus Elimination (MNTE) Program, a global campaign to protect the lives of mothers and babies in underdeveloped countries.

From 2015 to 2020, Al Jalila Foundation was the UAE partner for Procter & Gamble Pampers Vaccine Program with funds raised dedicated to supporting UNICEF to deliver lifesaving tetanus vaccines. Together Pampers and Al Jalila Foundation have provided over 5  million vaccines for UNICEF’s global campaign to eliminate mother and newborn tetanus.

The partnership has helped eliminate the deadly disease in 20 countries, saving the lives of an estimated 700,000 newborns and protecting 100 million women and their babies. Today more than 67 million women and newborns are still at risk of MNT and Al Jalila Foundation remains committed to working together with Pampers and UNICEF toward its elimination.
