Sentebale

Research

As part of our international outreach efforts we have partnered with Sentebale to support children’s health in the Kingdom of Lesotho.

Sentebale, which means “forget-me-not” in Sesotho, the language of Lesotho, is a charity founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. Sentebale works with local partners to deliver care, health and education to the most vulnerable children in Lesotho.

Al Jalila Foundation supported the building of the first purpose-built Mamohato Children’s Centre of Excellence which enables Sentebale to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people affected by HIV in Lesotho. Programs of education and care provide the tools and knowledge this vulnerable generation need to live long, happy, healthy lives in future.
