Research

Dubai has already set the standard for the service industry. It is the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum that we build on these successes to be one of the leaders in medical research. To reach this goal, we are establishing one of the largest independent medical research centers in the region scheduled to open in 2017.

A rapidly growing population means a growing need for medical capacity. At Al Jalila Foundation we will work to discover innovative solutions to address the medical challenges of the future.

Our funding will support the brightest minds in biomedical research with the aim of improving healthcare in the UAE. Launched on 2 April 2014, we offer two research funding schemes: Fellowship and Seed Grants in the research areas of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity and mental health.

For information on our grant schemes including the application process please contact research@aljalilafoundation.ae.
