Ta’alouf means ‘harmony’ in Arabic and we bring this spirit to life by working in unison with strategic partners, parents, educators and the wider community to empower children of determination. Instead of being weighed down by their disorders, these children can rise above their disabilities and discover hidden abilities. Ta’alouf is in harmony with our aim to bolster the UAE’s medical treatment, education and research capabilities.
Parents Training Program
The first initiative under Ta’alouf is the Parents Training Program, in which parents and guardians gain life-changing skills that enable them to manage their children’s disorders. The 5-week program is fully sponsored by Al Jalila Foundation and delivered by The British University in Dubai, one of the Middle East’s leading research-based postgraduate universities.
The program is open to all nationalities residing in the UAE and is delivered in Arabic and English. Interested parents/guardians can apply directly by filling the application form and submitting all required documents (as listed in the application form).

Teachers Training Program
The second initiative under Ta’alouf is the Teachers Training Program, in which teachers and principals are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to better understand each student’s individual learning needs and further broaden their understanding of inclusive education best practices. The program, which runs for the duration of a school semester, is fully sponsored by Al Jalila Foundation and delivered by Zayed University, one of the leading universities in the region. The course is endorsed by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
We work directly with government and private schools across the UAE to register their teachers and principals in the program. The program is open to all nationalities residing in the UAE and is delivered in Arabic and English.
